PetQiu Terms of Use

Terms of Use

Please Read Before Use By registering, signing in, accessing, or using PetQiu, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the relevant services. PetQiu is a pet-life recordkeeping and content-creation tool. It does not provide veterinary diagnosis, emergency care, or medical services.

1. Scope of These Terms

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) constitute an agreement between you and PetQiu and the relevant service provider. The processing of personal information is also governed by the PetQiu Privacy Policy. Paid subscriptions are additionally subject to the PetQiu Pro and Auto-Renewal Service Rules.

Where a feature page provides additional rules, event terms, or special conditions, those rules also form part of the agreement between you and us to the extent they do not conflict with these Terms.

2. Accounts and Eligibility

• You must provide truthful, lawful, and valid information and keep your sign-in credentials secure;
• You may not transfer, rent, or sell your account, or use automated means to register accounts in bulk or manipulate interactions;
• If you are below the age at which you may independently enter into these Terms in your region, you may use the Service only with the consent and guidance of a legal guardian;
• If you become aware of unauthorized use or unusual activity involving your account, please contact us promptly.

3. Services Provided by PetQiu

PetQiu may provide the following features, among others, depending on the version available to you and the region in which you use the Service:

• Pet profiles, growth records, weight trends, and vaccination, deworming, and daily reminders;
• Expense tracking for pet supplies and daily spending;
• AI and image features such as pet cutouts, illustrations, comic-style images, 3D-style images, profile cards, and background decorations;
• Community, posting, commenting, interaction, and reporting features;
• Shared management of pet records by family members;
• PetQiu Pro membership, subscriptions, one-time purchases, and other digital benefits.

We may add, modify, or discontinue features as our products evolve. We will provide reasonable notice where required by law or where a change materially affects users.

4. Pet Health Records and Important Disclaimer

Features relating to vaccination, deworming, weight, water intake, bowel movements, medication, and health trends are intended primarily for recordkeeping, organization, and reminders. Unless expressly stated otherwise and provided by a properly qualified professional organization, reminders, educational content, AI output, data trends, and other content do not constitute veterinary diagnosis, medical advice, prescriptions, or emergency assistance.

If your pet experiences persistent high fever, difficulty breathing, seizures, loss of consciousness, severe vomiting or diarrhea, inability to urinate, significant injury, possible poisoning, or another emergency, contact a local veterinarian or emergency facility promptly. Do not rely solely on PetQiu records or notifications.

5. AI and Image-Generation Services

Some image effects may be generated using algorithms or third-party AI services. Because generative technologies are probabilistic and have inherent limitations, we do not guarantee that generated results will be fully accurate, meet your expectations, or be free of similar content, visual defects, incorrect text, or inaccurate breed characteristics.

You must ensure that uploaded content comes from a lawful source and that you have all rights necessary to process, edit, generate, and display it. You may not use AI features to create or distribute unlawful, harmful, infringing, fraudulent, impersonating, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise prohibited content.

To the extent permitted by law, your existing rights in input content that you lawfully own do not transfer to us merely because you upload that content to PetQiu. Whether generated content is legally protectable, eligible for commercial use, or subject to third-party rights may vary based on applicable law, the model used, and the input content. You should conduct your own assessment before using generated content commercially.

6. User Content and Community Rules

“User Content” includes text, photos, videos, profile images, pet information, and other content that you upload, post, comment on, generate, or share. You retain any rights in User Content that you hold under applicable law.

When you voluntarily upload or publish User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive license limited to what is necessary to operate and improve the Service. This includes hosting, caching, compression, format conversion, thumbnail generation, display, backup, content moderation, and distribution where you choose to share content publicly. This license does not transfer ownership of your content to us.

You may not post or distribute content that:

• Violates applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements, or public order;
• Infringes another person’s copyright, trademark, image rights, privacy, reputation, or other lawful rights or interests;
• Involves animal abuse, encouragement of dangerous behavior, fraud, impersonation, harassment, hate, sexually explicit material, or graphic violence;
• Contains malicious advertising, spam, unlawful transactions, phishing links, malware, or material that compromises platform security;
• Discloses another person’s sensitive personal information, contact details, identity documents, or private images without authorization.

Based on applicable law, user reports, and platform rules, we may reduce the visibility of, remove, or restrict interaction with suspected prohibited content, or restrict features, suspend accounts, or take other reasonable enforcement action. Where there is a significant or urgent risk, we may also preserve evidence or report the matter to a competent authority as permitted or required by law.

7. Pro Membership and Paid Services

Certain features may require a PetQiu Pro membership, subscription, or one-time unlock. The benefits, price, duration, trial period, promotions, and auto-renewal status applicable to a purchase are those displayed on the purchase page and the application store confirmation page.

The relevant application store processes payments, taxes, refunds, and certain subscription-management functions. You must also comply with that store’s transaction terms. Auto-renewal, cancellation, and purchase-restoration rules are described in the PetQiu Pro and Auto-Renewal Service Rules.

8. Intellectual Property

Except for User Content and content lawfully owned by third parties, the intellectual-property rights in PetQiu software, interface designs, graphics, logos, icons, typography, feature structures, source code, databases, and other content belong to us or the relevant rights holders.

Unless permitted by us or expressly allowed by applicable law, you may not copy, reverse engineer, scrape in bulk, modify, sell, rent, mirror, or create derivative products from the Service, or use technical means to bypass payment, permissions, security, or usage restrictions.

9. Third-Party Services and External Links

PetQiu may use application stores, cloud services, AI services, or other third-party capabilities. Third-party services are independently operated and may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We select service providers with reasonable care, but we cannot guarantee the continued availability, content, or conduct of independently operated third-party services.

10. Service Availability, Changes, and Termination

We work to keep the Service stable, but it may be interrupted because of maintenance, upgrades, network failures, third-party service interruptions, force majeure, changes in law or policy, or security incidents.

If you materially violate these Terms, harm the platform or another person’s rights, or engage in fraud or unlawful activity, we may issue a warning, restrict features, remove content, or suspend or terminate your account. Where an appeal is appropriate, we will endeavor to provide a corresponding channel.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PetQiu is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We are not responsible beyond what the law requires for indirect losses or loss of anticipated benefits caused by inaccurate user input, failure to keep records current, interruptions to third-party services, AI-generation errors, or device or network conditions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits consumer rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, or excludes liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or other liability that cannot legally be disclaimed.

12. Complaints, Reports, and Dispute Resolution

If you believe content infringes your rights, or if you object to an account decision, purchase, or content-moderation action, you may provide an explanation and any necessary supporting evidence through the in-app reporting or feedback features, or by using the contact details at the end of these Terms.

The governing law and dispute-resolution provisions applicable to these Terms will be supplemented before formal launch based on the developer’s place of registration or habitual residence and the primary operating regions. Any such provisions will not deprive consumers of rights granted by mandatory laws in their place of residence.

13. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms in response to service upgrades, business changes, or changes in law. We will provide notice of material changes through in-app prompts, notifications, or other reasonable means. To the extent permitted by law, your continued use of the Service after an updated version takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
